Painted by my daughter Georgina Grace Pitt, ‘Be Still’ is taken from Psalm 46 - ‘Be still and know that I am God.’ It represents the Father God of our Lord Jesus Christ. She captures both the majesty of the lion and the heartbreak and compassion of God for His people. To stand before a lion would cause us to be still in His presence, in both awe and fear of his might and strength. The challenge is to be still and know that He is God. He is power, and with His power He fights FOR us. He is not a against us; He is a lion who fights our battles! Both caring, and fierce. Tap the image to purchase.
